About the webinar

Radically Open Security (ROS) is the world’s first not-for-profit computer security consultancy company. As an NGI0 partner it offers security audits to all projects within the Next Generation Internet initiative. Speakers are Melanie Rieback, CEO and Co-founder of ROS and Andrea Jegher an Information Security Engineer.
Melanie will explain how security audits work and what you can expect if you request one. As a panelist on the NGI Forum 2023 she encouraged NGI grantees to request security audits and to do so early in the development stage. She said it may seem daunting to have an audit when you feel you've just started. But it is better and easier to do security-by-design than to tag it on at the end.
Andrea will discuss real-world examples of security audits and which vulnerabilities were found. It will give an impression of what to expect when you have you project audited.
This is part of the Partner Webinar series.
