[MSRP client Java library -- till 2010/02/01]

The aim of the project is three-fold:

1. Full development of the MSRP library in order to make it fully operational, adding support for Relays and TLS, and making it even more flexible by allowing it to be used by applications developed in other languages than Java.
2. Integration of the MSRP library with the IM client Sip-Communicator with the purpose of providing file transfer via SIP signaling, following the latest available version of the specifications that currently were created by IETF and are in the draft state.
3. deployment of the SIP-Communicator within the Instituto Superior Técnico’s (IST) community using the file transfer via SIP as well as the planned support of this IM client of the LDAP protocol to integrate it with the LDAP and SIP services infra-structure already available in IST (service list).
